This is Fr. Stan Mader. I am thrilled to be leading a group of wonderful people on a trip to Israel, Jordan and occupied areas (Palestine) from November 6 -17, 2018.
We've had a few meetings to learn about the history and geography. Many people will have read scriptures, guide books, poured over atlases and read other books in preparation for our trip. We are a group of 39. Four of our members have gone to Europe ahead of us and will be us in Israel. We are going to all the "big" places Christians would go - Bethlehem, Nazareth, Jerusalem, Jericho, the Sea of Galilee. We will also be in places like Cana, Caesaria Maritime, Caesaria Philippi, the Dead Sea, Masada, Acre (Akko), Mt. Carmel, Mt. Tabor, Magdala and other places. Then we will cross into Jordan and see Petra, go for a "jeep" (or truck) ride in the desert, eat in a Bedouin tent, see Mt. Nebo, Jerrash and Amman.

ReplyDeletePraying for all❣️ I know how powerful this trip can be, as a two time pilgrim. Soak every moment in everyone, sounds, smells, sights, and tastes....oh and emotions! I am forever closer to Our Lord and Mary since being there. The Bible comes alive����������
